The latest version of the ANH series of soundscape generators, which uses evolutionary algorithms, “ANH-01”, will be unveiled at the “Plug-in to the Ecosystem Exhibition”.

The “ANH Series” is based on the concept of “The Acoustic Niche Hypothesis”. It collects sounds from the installed environment and autonomously generates new sounds to naturally fill any gaps in the environmental frequency band. The device outputs a diverse range of sounds from multiple speakers at intricate timings, including those beyond the audible range. It produces a rich soundscape that adapts to the ambient noise of the location in real-time, going beyond just recording and playing back natural sounds.

This work is equipped with the “ALIFE Engine” developed by Alternative Machine.
